The blade tip is a sharp chisel grind and can be easily maintained with 1000 grit stone, then stropping on one side to remove the burr. The grind angle is 20 degrees.
Lightly oil the edge and don't leave in water to avoid rust. Dont use harsh chemicals like acetone on the handle or blade.
